Setting up iFob Reporting
To set up iFob on your phone, you will need a myalarm customer account. When you sign up to a trial or other iFob plan, you will be emailed instructions on how to set up your alarm system by entering our Installer Registration code into Menu 509 and your Customer Registration code into MENU 508.
The first time you log in to your MyAlarm account, you will be asked to create a site:
Click "Add Site".
Enter a site name and the panel serial number of your alarm panel.
You should now see your new site:
If it says "Pending" it means your iFob plan has not been actiavted as yet. Contact us to activate your plan.
Click on your new site.
You should now be able to see your site, it's status, serial and some additional information.
Setting up Mobile Users:
Click on the Mobile Users tab.
This page shows all the users that are allow to control the alarm system through the iFob app on their device.
To add a user, start typing their name in the first empty line:
As you start typing, the system will generate an App Code. This is a special code unnique to that users device (mobile phone / ipad etc).
Press the "Get App Code" button.
You should see this popup - it contains ther serial number of the panel and the App Code for this users device. You can SMS it to the users phone number, scan the QR code with the iFob app, or simply note down the App Code for that user.
Setting up reporting.
Click on the Reporting tab
This sections set up who will recieve notifications on their devices. You will have different options depending on the iFob plan you are on.
To add a rule, click "Add"
Pull down the menu to select the message type.
Now select which user will receive this message:
You can select which type of notifications this person will receive. If you are on a plan with limited notifications, we suggest unticking as per below to save on notifications.
